Smile DesignYou can achieve a perfect smile, which is unique to you. Creating a perfect smile requires an overall understanding of facial and dental aesthetics. We have a system that includes examination, photography, diagnosis, and case discussion with you to develop cosmetic treatment plans and help you visualize the outcome we see for you through the use of selected image, models and templates.
Veneers are ultra-thin, custom-made covering of porcelain that are bonded directly to the teeth — to enhance the appearance and function of teeth. This is one of the most exciting and rewarding techniques in dentistry today. We are able to produce brilliant smiles by whitening teeth, closing spaces, and straightening rotated teeth. You can achieve the smile of your dreams in just a couple of visits.
Invisalign is an alternative to wire braces that uses transparent aligners to adjust teeth. The treatment process involves taking a mold of teeth to create a computerized model which creates stages between the current and desired teeth positions that are used to create molds for individual aligners.
Dental health begins with healthy gums. We customize treatment to ensure your specific periodontal (gums and bone) needs are met. We provide the best treatment while making sure you are comfortable, and non-surgical periodontal treatment is often possible.
Diagnostic and Treatment Plan
A thorough diagnosis and treatment plan will ensure success. We use x-rays, visual examination, digital cameras, models, comprehensive periodontal exams, cancer screenings, and esthetic evaluations to develop the proper diagnosis and treatment plans. Our Dental Software clearly explains various treatment options. Our doctors strive to educate you and make you an active participant in the process.
The latest dental materials and techniques allow for beautiful, long-lasting fillings. We use composite and porcelain to restore teeth to their natural color and strength.
Teeth that have been fractured or chipped are susceptible to further damage. Crowns are used to restore both front and back teeth that have been broken or are at high risk of doing so. We use the latest materials to restore teeth to their natural strength, look, and feel.
A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. Teeth on both sides of a space are used to anchor the bridge in order to restore function and esthetics. We use only the best dental labs to produce beautiful, natural restorations.
If you are missing one or more teeth, you may be a candidate for dental implants. Implants work by mimicking the structure of natural teeth. Like natural teeth, dental implants are secured in the jawbone. Successful dental implants become firmly embedded in the jaw, providing a chewing surface like that of natural teeth. Implants can replace one tooth or multiple teeth depending on the circumstance.
Tooth whitening is the process of removing stains from your teeth. Restoring your teeth to their original shade of brightness is teeth whitening. Exceeding original brightness for a gleaming smile is dental bleaching. We treat you with in-office or take-home kits depending on the current status of the teeth and desired outcome. The in-office procedure, one of the easiest and most gratifying techniques, is safe and produces immediate results.
When you have several missing teeth, or you are missing teeth altogether, a complete or partial denture may be necessary. We take time to help you gain back chewing function and healthy smiles.
With a special dental procedure called a root canal therapy you may save a tooth that would otherwise have to be pulled. Inside each tooth is the pulp, which provides nutrients and nerves to the tooth; it runs like a thread down through the root. When the pulp is diseased or injured, the pulp tissue dies. If you don’t remove it, your tooth gets infected and you could lose it. After we remove the pulp, the root canal is cleaned and sealed off to protect it. Then we place a crown over the tooth to help make it stronger. Most of the time, a root canal is a relatively simple procedure with little or no discomfort involving one to three visits. Best of all, it can save your tooth and your smile!
Night guards are removable dental appliances carefully molded to fit the upper or lower arches of teeth. They are used to protect tooth and restoration surfaces, and stabilize the jaw joints during occlusion.
CT Scan? (Or CAT Scan)
Computerized (Axial) Tomography, also called a CT Scan (or CAT Scan), special x-ray equipment that obtains many images from different angles and then combines them together to show a cross-section of the jaws. CT Scan also reveals nerves, maxillary sinuses and other anatomical landmarks.
CT Scan does not take a long time, non-invasive and requiring only a very low radiation exposure, CT scanning is a great aid to specific diagnosis, helping your dentist to determine potential problem areas and in most cases substitutes exploratory surgery.
Dr Ansarian will take the CT Scan, and then will view and discuss it with your Implantologist and/or Dentist.
Why have a CT-Scan?
There are specific cases within the practice of Oral Surgery and Implantology where the Ortho-Pantograph (OP) X-ray is too limited to provide anatomical data to allow us to perform a procedure. In these cases we must use the CT Scan system before the procedure.
